National, the only car rental company with the highest score for overall satisfaction and the cheapest, averaging $73 per day.
Members praised the company for its visitor service, vehicle condition and price transparency.
Enterprise and Alamo came in second and third.

While Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple Car Play can be useful technologies on your rental car trips, just be sure to unpair your phone and delete any data and addresses you may have stored before returning the car.
To help keep your data private, check the permissions on your phone and grant only the necessary ones to the car.
Another tip: Most rental companies place a hold or hold on your debit or credit card to make sure you have enough cash or credit to cover your final bill.
You may not be charged any additional fees if you return the car as promised in your rental agreement.
But if you have credit restrictions or your bank account balance is low when a hold is placed, your card may be declined for further purchases.
