Wilson scored his hat-trick just after the hour mark before Finley Munroe concealed a penalty to end an impressive performance in front of home fans. Villa last won this festival in 2021 and will also be looking to spend all of this year.

PLAYER RATINGS

James Wright – 7

I had very little to do. Maybe it got stuck when it dropped to -2°C.

Triston Rowe – 7

Rowe has played above the organization of his age this season and looks like a very right-back. He filled in the right flank and provided an effective exit for the hosts.

Jayden Barbier – 7

Rarely tested defensively, he looked brilliant as he went. Good communication between him and Peter in the back left.

Kerr Smith – 7

An impressive demonstration from central defender Smith. He came out of the defense with the ball and not afraid to take risks with possession. Smith joined Villa from Dundee United last year, where he was already playing first-team football.

Finley Munroe – 9

Serene in ownership and strong in his tackles, Monroe inspired here. He made a hand for Villa’s equalizer and shook the crossbar with a free kick. Aggressive in pressure and calculated with his defense, a forged performance. a fault.

Todd Alcock – 8

Directed play at the base of the midfield. He took care of the ball at all times and allowed Simpson to play a more complex role.

Kobei Moore – 9

Excellent header to mark Villa’s afternoon moment. He stepped forward when he could and used his power to move around the area.

Ewan Simpson – 7

A good midfielder looking to create a chance for his teammates. He may have made some assists tonight.

Rory Wilson – 9*

This kid will score goals: he is a poacher in the area and a herbarium in front of the target. His first goal scored elegantly and his moment was a continuation of the goalkeeper’s initial save. He scored the hat-trick with some other good finishes in the middle moment.

Omari Kellyman – 7

He was a goal from the start, but he did well with the physicality of the game. So agile and silky for one of the tallest players in the area, he looks like a genuine talent. at the time of the match with some blows and bruises.

Kyrie pierre – 7

Similar game very well with Kellyman. Derivative in the wallet to get and move the ball – it was moving. You’ll be frustrated because you couldn’t limit your functionality for a purpose with some of the opportunities you had.

Alternates

Lynch for Kellyman (60′)

Softley for Smith (70′)

Rhoades by Moore (71′)

Unused substitutes
