V. League 1 side Hanoi FC announced a one-year contract with Luxembourg international Tim Hall on Thursday as part of their efforts to bolster the team’s defence.
Born in 1997, Hall is 1. 90 meters tall.
He will play as a central defender for Vietnamese V. League 1 side Hanoi FC.
During his overseas career, Hall features as a Luxembourg national player in some matches of the current Euro 2024 qualifiers, which will end on March 26.
During his career, Hall has travelled the football landscapes of Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Ukraine and Cyprus.
Prior to joining Hanoi FC for the 2023–24 season, he made 16 appearances and played 1,085 minutes for Ujpest FC at Nemzeti Bajnokság, the elite of the Hungarian football league system.
Hanoi FC is Hall’s first match in Asia.
While he’s excited about potential accomplishments, he recognizes the demanding situations ahead and emphasizes the need for a concerted effort to contribute well to his teammates, whom he considers formidable.
His signing is expected to bolster Hanoi FC coach Daiki Iwamasa’s defensive strategy by addressing vulnerabilities in the team’s defense.
The club is in third place in the number of goals conceded this season after the 12 rounds of V. League 1, with 17 goals.
They are Le Cong – Viettel, who have conceded 18 goals, and Hai Phong Club, who have conceded 20 goals.
Currently seventh out of 14 groups in the league with 16 points, Hanoi FC maintain a six-point gap to the top three and bottom teams in the standings.
