Half of the Peugeot will be completely electric or hybrid

Peugeot will launch an electric powertrain (BEV) or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) over the next six months, along with pureTech and BlueHDi diesel petrol versions.

By 2023, all PEUGEOT diversity models will have an electrified and electrified variant with electrified motors in more than one part of their diversity. It will also supply a 7 kW PodPoint house wall loading solution.

It claims the new PEUGEOT e-208 in Allure trim, with an average retail usage of 10,000 miles per annum over a four year period, could cost up to £198 per month less than the equivalent petrol all-new PEUGEOT 208 1.2 PureTech 100 EAT8 8-speed automatic gearbox.  The total cost of ownership calculation takes into account data such as initial cost of the vehicle, fuel, tax, residual value, mileage and usage duration. 

For high mileage fleet operators, choosing a plug-in hybrid over a diesel could also represent a lower total cost of ownership.  For example, the PEUGEOT 508 HYBRID in GT Line trim could represent a saving of £191 per month, over a four year, 80,000 mile period, when compared to the 508 1.5 BlueHDi 130 8-speed automatic in the same trim level. 

The new PEUGEOT 208, available with an all-electric propulsion system, PureTech gasoline or BlueHDi diesel, recently named European Car of the Year 2020. Available from 16,845 OTR and 25,715 OTR (BEV), the new 208 ye The -208 includes LED lighting fixtures for sunlight hours and three-dimensional rear lighting with claw effect. Starting with the Allure, the new 208 comes with the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® 3-d, with compact multifunction guiding wheel, 7″ or 10 color capacitive touch screen (depending on version) and configurable 3-d head-up virtual dashboard.

The brand new 2008 SUV and all-electric e-2008 SUV also charge £28,665. The PEUGEOT 508 and the new 508 SW are also available with a plug-in hybrid propulsion system, PureTech gasoline or BlueHDi diesel.

With costs starting at 26855 OTR and 34945 OTR (PHEV) for the Fastback, the PEUGEOT 508 benefits from a complex automatic emergency braking system, popularity and speed and asset limit tips for the maintenance of popular tracks, as well as 3-d navigation and mirror. Screen®, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlayTM.
