GMC will unveil the main points of its highly anticipated Hummer electric sports van later this year, when the 1,000-horsepower four-door pickup truck is officially unveiled, but the automaker gave clues Wednesday about features like “crab mode” and “adrenaline”. mode.”
And a short video narrated through NBA superstar and former Hummer H2 owner LeBron James shows the outlines of the pickup truck and an electric SUV hummer will build next door.
“Evolve, imagine, see the global as it is,” James says as the video shows the staff coming with the new Hummer. “This is how true greatness is realized. That’s how the global is replaced.”
GMC will begin taking reservations for the electric van, which promises to provide excessive functionality on and off the road, on an unspecified date until the end of 2020. Production will begin in the fall of 2021 at the General Motors plant in Detroit-Hamtramck, which is being changed to build all-electric vehicles.
The presentation, which will provide the first detailed preview of a multi-seat cab truck with a look reminiscent of the popular but debatable Hummer SUV from the early 2000s, will take place some time before the end of 2020. GMC will show the SUV later, closer to when it will go into production.
GMC says the van has a diversity of about 400 miles. The features will come with the latest edition of GM’s Super Cruise formula for hands-free road driving.
