(Reuters) – General Motors Co and medical device maker Ventec Life Systems handed over 30,000 enthusiasts to the U.S. government over the COVID-19 pandemic, the automaker said on Tuesday.

Deliveries were subject to a $489 million contract from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.But it’s not the first time

GM said it has ceded operations for its Kokomo, Indiana facility to Ventec to manufacture fans.
