Alfa Romeo’s Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models will gain significant innovations by 2020. The Italian department of the FCA Group (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) made this announcement today, offering main points on how the superior functionality variants of the sedan and SUV models will be higher than last year’s editions.
Under the hood, there will be no more energy available. It is true that the 505 horsepower cavalry recently introduced through the 2.9-litre turbocharged V6 engine does not sneeze. But it’s worth mentioning some technical updates.

One of the key elements is the arrival of a new screen for the multimedia formula, offering the latter a touch interface for the first. The formula is also less difficult to use; it’s said to be the overdraft on a smartphone. Some of the menus of the formula will also be expressed in quadrifoglio models. These will involve key knowledge such as engine temperature, supercharger voltage and the most sensitive numerical clocks to measure acceleration and the most sensitive speed.
As for the dashboard, virtual approaches are left to the competition. In contrast, Alfa Romeo cars are supplied with two analog indicators with a 7-inch knowledge display.
Another vital update is the addition of more complex electronic driving functions. These come with practical features such as blind spot caution and assistance to stay in the lane, as well as signal popularity and adaptive cruise control with congestion assistance.
Alfa Romeo designers have also changed the center console to have a visual and tactile impact, while offering more garage space. A new guide wheel and gear lever design will also be available, and green or red seat belts will be available with the popular black version. Sports seats with leather trims and Alcantara are popular, but shoppers can climb Sparco bucket seats. These are supplied with carbon fiber helmets.
As for the outside, you have to be a stalwart fan of Alfa Romeo to realize the changes. Lighting fixtures are darker and new black details have been added to the front and back. Mopar has also developed a number of new features, adding a flavor set that adds hints of carbon fiber to the grill, side mirror housings and a rear wings. Finally, new colors are available.
Redesigned models will go on sale in Europe this summer. So far, no express release date has been advanced, which is not surprising given the uncertainty caused by the existing pandemic. Stay tuned for confirmation.
