Future withdrawal of BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS from India on maps?

BMW Motorrad introduced the G 310 R and G 310 GS in India last week. Learn more about the relevance of Rs 2.99 lakh and Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for India.

But just before the G 310 twins made it to Indian soil, BMW Motorrad issued a retreat for G 310 motorcycles in the United States. The recall was intended to face a challenge with the chassis in which the segment connecting the side crutch ring to the frame would possibly break or be damaged with repeated use. This can overturn the motorcycle, possibly even knocking down the rider with it. Don’t forget, it hurts the motorcycle itself.

BMW Motorrad has now removed a total of 2376 games of G 310 R and G 310 GS. Affected motorcycles will have a reinforcement plate attached to the side crutches that are still in condition. The broken ones, however, will get a new crutch look. In fact, if necessary, BMW says it will even update the G 310 R and G 310 GS frame.

There will be no additional charge for replacement and repair of affected models. The retreat will begin on August 7, 2018.

Although models in the United States have been affected by this problem, BMW Motorrad will ensure that models sold in India are compatible. Bicycles that have succeeded or succeeded in showrooms are expected to be freed from these problems.
