Fremantle won his consecutive game after knocking out St Kilda in a contender for the craziest game of the year.

The Dockers changed momentum in cases, as they increased after a quarter to score 10 of the next 11 goals and gain 12.7 (79) to 11.7 (73).

But it was in the last quarter that things went to a whole new level.

Fremantle kicked the opening two goals of the final quarter and looked to have the game sewn up with a 19 point lead.

But the Saints ended even when they took Fremantle’s nap to regain the game before an overdue purpose opposed to Lachie Schultz sealed the Dockers’ victory.

The win is the biggest deficit overdue in the quarter since 2012.

“The best win I’ve ever noticed in the year,” Gerard Healy said in Fox’s commentary.

“Complete your character. It’s a memorable victory,” Gerard Whateley said at AFL Nation.

Victory propelled the Dockers to 12th place in the standings at this time, with the win even more special after losing two players before half-time.

Defender Hayden Young collapsed in the first quarter with an ankle injury before ruckman Sean Darcy suffered a concussion from a blow to Ben Long’s head in St Kilda, which can result in a two-week suspension.
