A fourth guy has been arrested for the murder of “dedicated stepfather” Stephen Maguire, who shot him dead in his living room.
The 27-year-old boy was killed at his home on Guildford Road, Birkdale, shortly before March 22.
A post-mortem examination showed that he died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
In May, police arrested and charged three men in connection with the attack, who were later found guilty.
Now, detectives have shown that a fourth guy has been arrested for murder.
Liverpool’s 34-year-old man was taken to a local police station for questioning.

Karl Corson, 27, columbine Close, Melling; Jack Higgins, 21, waresley Crescent, Fazakerley; and Ryan Smith, 21, of Colquitt Street in central Liverpool, are all charged with murder, two counts of kidnapping, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and theft.
According to the charges, Mr. Maguire was murdered and an orange KTMArray, a green Kawasaki and a red Honda of unknown value were stolen.
The men are accused of kidnapping a teenager and a 19-year-old on the same date as the shooting, who were allegedly “illegally and by force or fraud snatched or taken away” against their will.
