The Russian attack destroyed more than 40 personal residential buildings, two multi-story buildings, 12 cars, a high school and lines of force, he said.
Investigators have opened an initial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), which carries a conceivable penalty of up to 12 years in prison.

On March 21, Russian forces attacked Kyiv for the first time in 44 days. The Ukrainian Air Force proved that the Russians had deployed two ballistic missiles (Iskander-M and Kh-47M2 Kinzhal) and 29 cruise missiles from 11 Tu-95MS bombers. The missiles came from the north and most were intercepted in Kyiv province.
Thirteen other people were wounded in the Russian attack, said Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv city’s military directorate. No deaths were reported.
