Forza Motorsport for Xbox Series X will run in 4K at 60 ips, with lightning launch

Today, at the introduction of Microsoft’s Xbox games, developer Turn 10 Studios introduced the latest access in his Forza Motorsport racing series, which will be featured on the upcoming Xbox Series X console. Breaking with the numbered culture of the series, it turns out that the new game will be called Forza Motorsport.

The video for the short was captured in the game and shows a team in the paddock of the Laguna Seca track preparing for a race with the Apollo IE supercar. It turns out that players will be able to create their own racing team, expand the colors and eventually the crew. The trailer also showed a prototype of Mazda’s BAC Mono and Daytona racing.

While the game is said to still be in the early days of development, Turn 10 has leaked some juicy details. The new Forza Motorsport will run at 60 frames consistent with the moment in 4K, and will use lightning launch for ultra-realistic lighting and surfaces. The trailer was beautiful, with cars and realistic environments, but we couldn’t see much of what the race will look like.

We still don’t know when the new Forza will be released, however, the moment when part of 2021 is most likely. Turn 10 indicates that the game will be played on Xbox Series X and Windows 10, and can also be played through the Xbox Game Pass service.
