Fort Worth police seeks suspected car burglary trapped in QuickTrip

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Flight detectives from the Fort Worth Police Department want help identifying a car theft suspect caught in a surveillance video of a QuikTrip before the crime.

Police described the car thief as a white man in his twenties, five feet six inches to five feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds with long, wavy hair (above his neck).

He is one of two suspects who were reported by police who kidnapped a guy who had lured from QuikTrip to South Freeway and W. Everguy Parkway on the grounds that he needed to convert a flat tire.

This happened on August 6 at 6 a.m. The victim agreed to the suspects, who boarded his Dodge Durango. The suspects took him to a nearby commercial site, where the victim saw a vehicle that did not have a puncture. One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded the Durango.

But the victim tried to escape when a suspect was taken out of his truck; the moment the suspect threatened the victim. The victim jumped out of the Durango as the suspect walked away. The Durango discovered on August 19th in Arlington, when one of the suspects stopped.
