FORT PIERCE – A guy from Fort Pierce was accused of crushing a truck at a fort pierce house early Friday morning and then leaving the scene.
Christopher Spells, 40, from the 200-block Lilac Terrace at Fort Pierce, accused of running over and fleeing when he left the scene of a twist of fate involving damage to the assets.
No one was injured, the MPs said.
Approximately 2 a.m. on Friday, st. Agents from the Lucia County Sheriff’s Office reported being in the 2000 block of St. Lucia Boulevard for a hit-and-run.

MPs spoke to a man and a man who were in a room when the incident occurred.
The guy told the agents he heard a loud noise coming from his living room. He said much of the wall of the room had been damaged. He then went out and faced Spells, who in a Ford F-150 van.
Spells said the turn of fate occurred due to a challenge with his brakes, the guy told the MPs. Then the spells went away.

Officers said they searched the surrounding area and discovered spells on the truck.
Spells arrested and taken to St. Lucie County Jail. Bond set at $250.
