The British motorcycle industry faced a complicated 2024 and among those succumbing to the onslaught of reduced so-called and inflated operating costs, there is a long-standing dealer chain, Pidcock motorcycles.
Now, however, an intelligent news brightness has given the impression of the old BMW Motorrad site, founded on Nothingham of the company, with Stoke potteries motorcycles that pronounce that they will take from destination.
An opening weekend has already been sped up from March 1-2 and thanks to the company, many former Pidcock members are expected to be retained.
The site on Fields Farm Road, Long Eaton, is set to be rebranded as ‘Bikers Nottingham’. The revived store will no longer stock new BMWs, instead dealing in used machines and new bikes including the likes of Benelli and Voge.
These brands are imported to the United Kingdom MotoGB: the largest importer and independent distributor of the United Kingdom in motorcycles, as well as the matrix company of the potters (which is also a Kawasaki and KWMA franchise corridor).
“It’s a blank canvas at the moment,” said Craig Cameron, Potterie’s dealership director.
“For now, we will sell quality used motorcycles and some other brands that we import. But we’ll follow an open brain and see what works for us and the region. ”
Nottingham born himself, Cameron hopes to create a hub for local riders with the move.
“We have to advance in the bicycle network and we believe we can do a task in this area,” he continued.
“People may say you don’t want bike shops anymore, but I think you still want a booth for other people to come in person.
“I need other people to have an area to get to know, have a drink, communicate about motorcycles and cycling.
“I want to have a café there as well. How we’re going to do that I don’t know yet, but we’ll make it happen.
The triumph of Pidcock and Ducati Nottingham, the other old ancient places of Pidcock, are already permanently closed are covered in the acquisition.
