Former Jaguar coach Foley Fatukasi visits Bills, Texans

Former Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman Foley Fyukasi is already attracting the league.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, Fatukasi has had visits with the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills over the past few days, suggesting that the former Jaguar will land on a team soon.

The Jaguars officially released Fatukasi earlier this week, two years after signing him to a three-year contract. Since Fatukasi was released and is not a free agent whose contract expired, he will not be eligible to offer the Jaguars a compensatory draft pick if symptoms with any other team.

Fatukasi’s release left the Jaguars $3. 5 million in salary cap, even though the Jaguars consume $9,233,334 in deadlift. The Jaguars will now look to use the savings from Fautaki’s departure as a budget for Josh Allen’s franchise, Ezra Cleveland’s new deal and other moves.

In 2023, Fatukasi participated in 16 games and recorded 24 tackles, 3 tackles for loss and two quarterback hits.
