The Iveco Group and Ford Trucks have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration on new cabs for heavy-duty vehicles. This non-binding agreement is the first step in figuring out how the two corporations could work together. The announcement focuses on the cockpit as it relates to new products and technologies at the component and formula level.

The partnership would respond to comply with the European standard of direct vision and externally evaluate opportunities to improve aerodynamic performance. These cab design priorities would ensure that companies create a cab focused on protection and power. This is one component of the broader sustainability of Ford Trucks and the Iveco Group. aims to improve the fuel power of its vehicles, thereby reducing CO2 emissions.
