ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL – Arlington Heights Ford joins Ford dealerships and nonprofits in Chicagoland monday to distribute thousands of face masks to citizens starting with Ford PPE Day in Chicago.
Distribution will take place from nine to five o’clock in the afternoon. h. au 801 W Dundee Road, and network members are invited to stop at the dealership to pick up loose disposable masks (up to 20 masks according to the ator stop, until stock runs out). The face mask will be distributed in more than 20 positions throughout Chicago and the suburbs, adding several Ford dealerships and several positions in partnership with nonprofits in the Chicago area. All health, protection and social distance rules will be followed on the site.
Ford PPE Day is a component of a national initiative through Ford and its philanthropic arm, Ford Motor Company Fund, to manufacture and distribute a hundred million masks to nonprofits, schools, veterans and other at-risk communities facing a shortage of -Public Protection Device. Along with its UAW components, Ford has already manufactured more than 72 million non-public protective devices for frontline staff and patient physical care appliances, adding more than forty-five million face masks, 20 million face shields, 5,000 fans, 32,000 respirators and 1. 4 million washable dresses.
