(RTTNews) – Car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler and Alphabet’s autonomous driving generation, Waymo, have expanded their partnership by signing an exclusive agreement to expand autonomous soft advertising vehicles.
Both corporations said the new deal, Waymo will integrate its autonomous driving system, Waymo Driver, into Fiat Chrysler’s Ram ProMaster soft application vehicle for cargo traffic.
Fiat Chrysler or FCA also selected Waymo as its exclusive strategic spouse for the autonomous “Level Four” generation to deploy its FCA fleet. Autonomous level four generation is capable of detecting and navigating the surrounding area without human intervention.
Waymo now paints exclusively with FCA as a spouse for the progression and testing of class 1 to 3 vehicle cars with soft advertising and advertising for advertising delivery customers, adding the Waymo Via delivery service.
The association resulted in the first advertising self-driving service, the provision of a driverless service for motorcyclists. In December 2018, Waymo officially introduced its first driverless car service, Waymo One, in Arizona.
“Our four-year partnership with Waymo continues to innovate. By integrating Waymo Driver, the world’s leading autonomous driving generation, into our Pacifica minivans, we have become the only partnership that, in fact, implements a fully autonomous generation in the real world, on public roads,” said Mike Manley, FCA President and CEO.
In June, Waymo announced that it had signed an agreement with Volvo Car Group’s exclusive Tier Four global partner, adding its strategic subsidiaries Polestar and Lynk-Co. International.
Initially, corporations will paint in combination to integrate the Waymo Driver into a new mobility-oriented electric vehicle platform for telephony services.
Waymo also has partnerships with car brands such as Jaguar Land Rover and Renault Nissan Mitsubishi, to implement Waymo Driver on one of the vehicle platforms.
