Ferrari and McLaren engage in the long-term formula one after signing a new contract with Concorde

Ferrari has won the war on its regulatory and monetary supremacy over the next five years of Formula One.

The Scuderia, along with McLaren and Williams, on Tuesday signed the upcoming Concorde agreement, which defines appointments between teams, the ruling FIA and Liberty Media owners.

But while the Ferrari car lacks competitive merit this season, the Italians have controlled a masterstroke in the negotiation by retaining their special trade agreement and a veto of singles over regulation.
