One would think that the Ferrari 296 GTB looks special enough right from the Maranello factory, but some owners want to take things further. Zacoe answers their needs by offering wild visual updates for the electrified supercar.
The latest bodykit by the Taiwanese tuner for the Ferrari 296 series is made entirely of carbon fiber, with an exposed finish making it look like armor. The 296 GTZ (Gran Turismo di Zacoe) as they call it, has styling references to the classic 250 LM, although its aerodynamics were inspired by Ferrari’s modern racing cars.

The wide fenders feature integrated vents at the front and stick to the sexy curves of the supercar at the rear, blending in with a more pronounced rear spoiler. There are also some aerodynamic elements such as the front splitter, skirts and rear diffuser extensions, with red accents highlighting its white lines.
Although preliminary renders are on the 296 GTB, the placement of parts suggests that the same kit will also be compatible with the 296 Spider convertible. Finally, a new set of alloy wheels represents Zacoe’s edition of the strongly Ferrari-related “star” design. The tires feel wider than stock and seem to pair with a lowered suspension.
As with Zacoe’s previous projects, the modifications are limited to aesthetics, leaving the original powertrain intact. That’s bad, as the 296 comes with a mid-mounted 2. 9-liter twin-turbo V6 and a single electric motor, generating combined power. 819 hp (611 kW / 830 hp) and 546 lb-ft (740 hp). Nm) of torque.
