L4 Waymo Driver will be incorporated into FCA’s Ram ProMaster light utility vehicle for the movement of goods, allowing the association to satisfy the express wishes of advertising customers.

FCA and Waymo announced that they have taken the next vital steps to expand their successful partnership in autonomous driving technology.

Waymo will now work exclusively with FCA as a beloved spouse for the progression and testing of Class 1-3 soft advertising cars for the movement of goods for advertising delivery consumers, adding Waymo Via. First, both corporations will aim to integrate Waymo’s driving force into the Ram ProMaster pickup truck, a highly configurable platform that will provide access to a wide variety of global advertising consumers. This relationship will allow FCA and Waymo to leverage their respective strengths and skills on how to use autonomy well to satisfy the express wishes of advertising consumers, while expanding product delivery services immediately.

FCA has also chosen Waymo as its exclusive strategic spouse for the independent L4 generation of the FCA fleet and has already begun working with Waymo to design long-term FCA products for the movement of other people and goods operated through the Waymo driving force.
