Farmer’s approach: it was dry for the harvest to begin

The cereals were tied to the desk and potato producers were irrigating.I predicted it would rain a lot soon, and unfortunately I’m right.

Half of my winter barley is in a position to be cut, the other part a week late.Oats and wheat are in a race to determine which one will be in a position first, but I think the oats will accept it.I hope so, because I see that the patch is starting to tilt.

I don’t make predictions, because I invariably get it and end up surprised or disappointed.

Some who have controlled to achieve seem to be achieving appropriate grain yields, but with declining straw yields, which is a valuable addition to this component of the country.

Thinking about next year’s harvest, I wonder what demanding situations we will all face outdoors in the EU.I suppose it’s all based on ”agreement or no agreement”, how UK food production policy unfolds and how the industry is affected accordingly.We are still looking forward to a policy that supports maximum sustainable production in our own country.

While I plan for next year, I feel like there’s not much I can do right now, other than continuing my prices and growing as successfully as possible.Rather, I suspect whatever the outcome, we’ll have a difficult few years.Come.
