ROCHESTER, N. Y. —If you’re a new parent or just want to check that your child’s car seat is installed properly, free car seat inspections are taking place this week in Monroe and Wayne counties.
Certified Child Passenger Protection Technicians will be on Saturday, June 22 and Wednesday, June 26 to check and ensure that car seats are properly installed. Technicians will show parents how to properly install the car seat and how to choose the best productive car seat for their family.
Inspections are self-paced and will be conducted at the following locations and times:
