Europe in an old Mercedes SL: how’s it going?

If you’re a Mercedes-Benz fan, and especially its mythical SL style in its multiple incarnations over the years, think about the appeal of making a road through one of the most charming corners of Europe. Last year, the automaker presented a program that offers exclusive tours on some of the most impressive routes of the Old Continent.

In partnership with Munich-based Company Nostalgic, Daimler Business Innovation brought Classic Car Travel, which allowed drivers to make an unforgettable adventure in an old SL car.

There are three itineraries available:

The program’s assignment director, Thomas Eisenbarth, explained: “There are many other people who dream of spending their hiking holidays in an old sports car like the SL, but who are reluctant to buy and maintain a vehicle like this. . With ‘Classic Car Travel’ you can now enjoy driving a vintage car on some of Europe’s dream routes without having your own vintage.

The program includes a total of ten Mercedes SL models from generations W 113 (1963-1971) and R 107 (1971-1989). In addition, participants will exchange cars during the holidays so they can see other versions.

The charge according to the user of this fair European adventure is 1,975 euros, based on a double occupancy. For more information, visit the Mercedes-Benz Classic Car Travel website.
