Elon Musk visits Tesla’s Gigafactory in Germany

(RTTNews) – Tesla Inc. (TSLA) founder Elon Musk visited Tesla’s Gigafactory near Berlin on Wednesday, where production was halted due to an arson.

Musk reportedly greeted them upon arrival at the factory in the German state of Brandenburg. He also addressed them on stage, in a tent where staff gathered to greet him. Reports also imply that Musk told the crowd, “I love you. “” in German.

Meanwhile, Musk is expected to meet with regional politicians at his stopover in Germany.

Last week, Tesla was forced to halt production at its Gigafactory due to a suspected arson attack at a nearby electrical substation.

Tesla’s facilities, which employ about 12,500 people, were evacuated and most workers were sent home.

The far-left organization Vulkangruppe claimed responsibility for the attack in an online letter, criticizing Tesla’s environmental credentials. The regional government is still investigating the case.

“They’re either the dumbest eco-terrorists on the planet or the puppets of those who don’t have smart environmental goals,” Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on X about the attack.
