Elon Musk earns $8 billion and becomes the fourth richest user in the world as Tesla shares soar

Elon Musk’s wealth is skyrocking with Tesla’s action.

The CEO’s net worth increased by nearly $8 billion on Monday, as Tesla’s percentage value increased 11 percent and closed at an all-time high. Musk’s net worth is now $84.8 billion, making him the fourth richest user in the world, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires’ Index.

Tesla’s stock has been out of the way this year, earning about 349% and peaking several. The company has become the world’s most valuable automaker, driven by strong vehicle sales, the coronavirus pandemic, a number of successful profits and its eligibility for inclusion in the popular S-P 500 index.

Overall, Musk’s net worth rose to $57.2 billion this year, the second-largest gain in Jeff Bezos’ $73 billion increase. Amazon’s $188 billion CEO is the richest user in the world.
