EastEnders boss Jon Sen mocked Stacey Fowler’s dramatic return to Walford as he prepares to face his friend Ruby Allen.
Actress Lacey Turner will return this fall after leaving the BBC soap opera to spend the year on maternity leave.
Stacey is about to find out that her ex-husband Martin Fowler not only slept with her boyfriend Ruby, but lived through the closure with her.
And to say that she is disappointed would be an understatement.
Jon, mocking his return, told the Mirror and the media: “The great [hopeful] is Stacey, we are waiting for him to return.
“Lacey is amazing and a component of EastEnders history and we miss his power in the Slaters, so the first two weeks we got ahead of a mystery: where’s Stacey?
“All those things that in the square have to do with that? Then it is back in fashion.
“There are scenes from Ruby Vs Stacey, and we can’t wait to find out what Stacey is doing when he finds out what’s going on between Martin and Ruby. A comeback that’s a wonderful moment. “
This comes after actor James Bye, who plays Martin, said the dating between Martin and Ruby had evolved the confinement.
“We saw Martin and Ruby start getting a little closer, so it’s just happening, dating grows.
“They combine and, depending on the sound, get along. That’s all I’m saying. Things happen. “
He also showed that Martin is in a position for a massive situation to come.
“We have dataArray . . . the hairs are fixed on my arm, and that’s the story I’m worried about,” he said.
EastEnders returns on 7 September on BBC One
