Jason Dupasquier is in a “very serious condition” after several riders crashed into the Moto3 rating in Mugello, according to the MotoGP FIM consultant.

The 19-year-old Swiss driver crashed at the end of classification 2 for the lightweight category, when his wanderer PruestelGP KTM hit Ayumi Sasaki.

When he passed over the front of his own motorcycle and hit the asphalt with a dull noise, he was able to move away from the scene.

Jeremy Alcoba, who also worried about the incident taking an outdoor position in Arrabbiata 2, then officially declared “OK”, as Sasaki.

Dupasquier, however, continued to lay on the surface of the runway, where he was cared for by a medical team until, however, he was air-flown to Careggi Hospital in Florence.

“Number 50 driver Jason Dupasquier was worried about a very serious accident in Moto3 rating 2,” said doctor Giancarlo Di Filippo.

“The FIM medical reaction team in the cars arrived without delay at the site of the turn of destination and, after that, was moved in a hemolytic stable manner [in relation to blood through organs, tissues] to Careggi Hospital in Florence and we will expect updates from the hospital.

“At the moment we know you’re in a very serious condition and we’re waiting for updates from the hospital. “

Sasaki said he was in pain but didn’t suffer fractures.

“[Dupasquier] crashed in front of me, his motorcycle came here to the track and I couldn’t,” recalls tech3 driver.

“I hit his motorcycle and had a very big fall. Fortunately, I’m fine. I have pain and basically in my foot, but it’s not broken. “

Alcoba’s involvement in the incident was not initially transparent, however, the Spaniard later explained that he crashed after applying the brakes in reaction to what was in front of him.

“When things like this happen, it’s hard to communicate anything else,” Gresini Racing driver said.

“All I can say is that Jason can do it as temporarily as possible.

“I pushed hard because I didn’t get the checkered flag and I think I can move forward, but on the curve of Arrabbiata we saw the red flag.

“[Gabriel] Rodrigo, who in front of me, pressed the brakes and I moved to the right to a blind spot and before I knew it, I fell to the ground.

“I didn’t even have time to realize how and why I fell. “

Alcoba’s teammate Rodripass added: “Our mind passes to Dupasquier, because we hope he can do it as soon as possible. “
