Driver ejected from Jeep in accident on Lucia Falls Road; Life Flight for transportation

An injured driver was transported via Life Flight to a local hospital Tuesday morning after crashing into a ditch near Moulton Falls Regional Park in northern Clark County.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office, North Country EMS and Clark County Fire District Thirteen were dispatched around 7:15 a. m. m. a 26931 Northeast Lucia Falls Road near Yacolt after a report of a collision with injuries, according to a Clark County Sheriff’s Office report.

They discovered a 1992 Jeep Wrangler in the north ditch along the highway. Passersby tried to help the woman, who was unconscious under the vehicle. The extent of her injuries is not available.

Life Flight landed at Pomeroy Farms, according to Clark County Fire Department District 13. “The groups worked in combination to treat and package the critical patient” for dispatch from the scene to the Life Flight landing site, where he was sent to a trauma center.

The initial investigation revealed that the driver had left the road and the vehicle had rolled over. The driver did not appear to be wearing his seat belt and was ejected.

The identity of the driver has been revealed.
