A 20-year-old boy seriously injured after a twist of automobile fate on Streetly. The guy driving a Ford Fiesta when he collided with a Jaguar XF last night (October 7).
The Jaguar XF’s motive force allegedly “did not stop” for officers moments before the Aldridge Road crash, West Midlands Police said. Both men were taken to the hospital after the crash, which occurred shortly after 11 p. m.
A 51-year-old man, who was driving the Jaguar XF, is hospitalized with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. He will be questioned by the police at a later date.

The force has since referred to the Independent Bureau of Police Conduct in connection with the incident. Members of the public who witnessed the twist of fate are invited to introduce themselves.
Officers are also willing to listen to anyone who possibly has camera footage on the dashboard of the incident, which destroyed a bus stop. West Midlands Police said: “A 20-year-old man was seriously injured following a collision on Aldridge Road. , Streetly, shortly after 23:00 (7 October).
“The Ford Fiesta I was driving collided with a Jaguar XF, which didn’t stop the police before that. The driver of the Jaguar XF, a 51-year-old man, was also taken to hospital.
“His condition is not life-threatening and he will be questioned at a later date. The incident was referred to the IOPC Funds, as it is the same procedure as before.

Aldridge Road was closed in both directions, between Foley Road West and Lowlands Avenue, following the crash. Witnesses reported seeing the entire emergency at the scene, adding police, paramedics and firefighters.
