Listen to Autoweek editors check out the world’s coolest cars and pickup trucks in a new logo podcast.
Introducing Quick Spin, a new Autoweek podcast that takes you in the car with publishers as they provide fair reviews of the world’s most productive cars. This short weekly screen (each episode takes about 15 minutes) puts you in the passenger seat during the review process, and editors write their reports with the car. Publishers then enter the studio for their reports and review to address the essence of the car they are examining.
This loose podcast covers every single aspect, from pedestrians to world-class supercars. Quick Spin is available on all major podcast platforms, such as Apple Podcast, Spotify and Stitcher. Watch the first 3 episodes below and pay attention to the new episodes every Wednesday!
Presenter Wesley Wren talks to West Coast editor Mark Vaughn about Polestar’s first effort. Aptly named Polestar 1, it oozes taste and shows that Polestar, Volvo’s branch, is up to the task. Vaughn puts Polestar 1 in control in the California cannons.
Wren joins through editorial director Patrick Carone, who spent time with a Mazda MX-5 Miata RF 2020. While top enthusiasts would opt for a manually staggered Miata, Carone’s tester is an automatic device model.
Wren talks about his delight with the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited EcoDiesel 2020 with publisher Wes Raynal. This high-end Wrangler offers superior value with all its new comfort and diesel power.
