The Ford Fireworks 2020 demo, on the theme “We are a whole”, will be held as a special TV demo starting at 8 p.m. 10 p.m. August 31. The demo will be broadcast live on WDIV-TV Local 4, in honor of frontline staff and heroes.
Fireworks, a summer culture in Detroit, will be a contextual exhibit, in an undisclosed location, that will not be announced in advance.
“The Parade Company has an unwavering commitment to this vital culture and the organization of wonderful occasions in our community,” said Tony Michaels, president and CEO of The Parade Company. “We are proud to unite with the City of Detroit and our spouses to make this occasion imaginable every year.”
According to the parade press release, the demonstration will take place in the city center or visual from the city center. But one Resident of Riverfront Towers said citizens have been informed that the fireworks will be visual from the community as usual, but that there will be no occasion at the site.
Ford Fireworks is produced through The Parade Company and is in its 62nd year.
The Parade Company decided on the musical arrangement and worked exclusively with Zambelli Fireworks to level more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects.
