General Motors’ promise of faster charging for electric vehicles is approaching at dusk on the longest day of the year.

“Our ambition has been to open up the Supercharger network to all electric cars and, in doing so, inspire more drivers to make a temporary transition to an emission-free future,” Tesla’s online page reads.
UPDATE Friday, June 21: A Volvo spokesperson said there will be no updates on NACS adapters yet, but clarified the automaker’s stance on electric vehicles. “Volvo Cars is committed to an electric future and is looking to drive the adoption of electric vehicles,” an email read.
