Crime of the Week: Trucks stolen from a Central El Paso dealership

Security cameras caught a guy stealing two trucks for more than $ 68,000 from a car dealership in downtown El Paso.

El Paso Police Department detectives are requesting to identify the suspect through Crime Stoppers, Crime of The Week.

On Saturday, August 22, shortly after 2 a.m., a man entered the Dick Poe Toyota dealership at 6330 Montana Ave.The suspect began checking the doors of several vehicles.

Suspect, two trucks without a key. The suspect drove the first vehicle, a white Toyota Tacoma 2020 with black rims, drove north on Isha Street and then turned west on Airport Road.

At 4:53 a.m., the suspect returned for the vehicle, a white 2020 Toyota Tundra with a long bed, and the thief went out and turned west in Montana.

The suspect wore a dark-colored baseball cap with a white logo on the front, a blouse with the word “Hope Lives” on the front, blue-blue slack jeans and sneakers with dark white soles.

Forecasters would possibly remain anonymous. If the clue leads to an arrest, they may qualify for a cash reward.
