Create it or fix this six-door GMC Sierra HD van is a photography workshop job: video

CABT, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, specializes in turning American pickup trucks into giant six-door pickup trucks capable not only of transporting giant families in total comfort, but also of towing a trailer with giant harnesses.

Most CABT products are Ford trucks, but recently implemented their expertise in a GMC Sierra Denali HD. This long, sumptuous vehicle, in the third generation GMC Sierra HD, has six doors, 8 seats and a 6-foot, nine-inch body.

There is not a lot of technical data on this version, however, it turns out that it is based on the GMC Sierra Denali 3500HD, judging by the dual rear axle configuration. It is also not known which engine is under the hood, we expect it to run on the 6.6L Duramax LML diesel V8 instead of the old Vortec 6.0L gasoline V8. These platforms are not only meant to carry up to 8 people, but are also meant to do so while dragging a giant fifth wheel trailer on the road, so the additional torque presented through diesel would be really appreciated.

So how much would CABT (meaning Custom Autos By Tim) qualify for forced collection like this? Well, according to their website, six-door pickup trucks in 2017 onwards start with $65,000 counting the value of the donor van and building from there with features. Some additional buyers may mark the box to come with Kelderman air suspension, full-length electric steps, a traditional roof gallery, spare alloy wheels, heated rear seats and even a gun safe. CABT also specializes in traditional paints and charges $75 an hour for hard work and portions to load all the other features its consumers can imagine.

The hood and tachometer would be signs that the Duramax is the hood.

Probably a guy from the oil/mining or rancher sector who wants passengers for his team or his family.

If you’re rich, can’t you buy a Suburban besides your truck?

Our neighbor down the street has a Ford edition of this van. This looks like a 2009 and was used thoroughly. He uses it daily to send his crew … a comfortable truck.

It feeds through a Duramax due to the hood shovel. During the K2XX model, the Diesel truck for the hood shovel.

Nate… If they were rich, they might just buy a suburban, but a suburban can’t tow a fifth wheel …

What a crazy idea!

It would be much easier and less expensive to carry a vehicle like a Fiat Ducato, which is advertised in North America under the name RAM ProMaster with nine seats and still enough space for loading.
