STREET. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Butler County coroner’s office has learned of a woman who died after the motorcycle she was riding appeared to be crashed by a deer.
The coroner identified Ashley Pennington, 39, of Clarksville, Ohio, as the user who died in the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, the coroner said.
At approximately 9:30 p. m. , agents were dispatched to North Third St. , or US-127, near St. Louis Township. John. Cleared by a motorcycle accident.
Upon arrival, “we discovered that there was a motorcycle on the ground” along with two other people on the ground, deputies said.
The user at the time was taken to UC Health West Chester with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Investigators said they discovered a deer had crossed in front of the motorcycle.
The twist of fate is still under investigation, agents said.
