Those looking for a check at a pop-up site register and get a bracelet for an hour later in the day; then they can leave and return at the scheduled time to be checked. This facilitates social distance and reduces queue time. However, the source of the bracelets is based on the number of checks that must be had and should only be held within the limits of the available stock. The county advises others interested in a check at a pop-up site to pass earlier in the day than later to pick up a bracelet. When the wristbands run out, others will be directed to other nearby verification functions.
County verification sites provide loose COVID-19 checks, regardless of immigration status, and no doctor’s notes are required. At some county verification sites, other people with insurance may be asked to provide their insurance details so that they can be billed to insurance. However, those who do not have fitness insurance or those who do not provide insurance data can still verify those sites. For others without symptoms of COVID-19, the county lately offers indoor driving services. People with symptoms are referred to driving service centers in the face of the threat of other patients.
