Morrison has refused to comment on US President Donald Trump’s habit since his COVID-19 diagnosis, and told Sales that “it’s up to me to comment on other world leaders. “
RELATED: Frydenberg is in Trump’s dropkick
“It is up to me to work with them and the Australia-US appointments may be in a more potent state,” she said, after she asked if Trump “requires condemnation” from world leaders.
“And that’s what happens to australians, Leigh. It’s not for me to comment on other political leaders there or elsewhere. “
Their discussion changes to the devastating effects of COVID-19 on Australia’s elderly care sector.
Noting that three-quarters of coronavirus deaths in our country occurred at australian facilities, or another 673 people, sales are not easy for Morrison, as the federal government “failed so absolutely to save him from this tragedy. “
“The Commonwealth Government has invested another $1. 5 billion to do everything from work to PPE and education and gadgets to help the elderly care sector fight the COVID-19 pandemic. . . “the Prime Minister began.
“And 673. . . ” Sales intervened.
“If you let me finish, ” retorted the prime minister.
“As long as the question, ” answered Sales.
“I’m talking about what was done to combat the COVID pandemic in the care of the elderly. “
“I ask you why you failed?”
“I don’t agree with your assessment,” Morrison said.
“I am saying that in elder care, what we have noticed is that the transmission of the network, that is, the borders in Victoria, is discovered more in the care of the elderly, compared to what we have noticed in the world.
“Eight percent of Australia’s elderly care services had cases of COVID-19, to 56 percent in the UK. We did it. There have been part of a dozen cases where I agree that the problems were serious, but they were not for the whole system.
“In the vast majority of senior care centers, what we’ve noticed is that the formula is dealing with the pandemic and preventing this terrible outcome that we’re seeing around the world.
“However, 673 more people is a terrible result,” Sales said. “If you take away the steps that have been taken since it happened, they were taken as a reaction. . . “
“It was what was going on,” the Prime Minister interrupted him.
“What was going on ad hoc was done because we had to respond to the crisis,” Sales replied.
“I don’t agree, ” said Morrison.

Scott Morrison is talking to Leigh Sales on ABC at 7:30 a. m. right now, following the federal budget last night.
The prime minister said the budget designed to address Australia’s “huge challenge” regarding the coronavirus and pandemic recession that caused it. “
“And that’s why we’ve targeted other low- and middle-income people because we know they’re more likely to spend it,” he said.
“We would never tell an Australian how to spend his own money, it’s his decision, but the way we design and focus on those measures was to make sure there are the right incentives to do so, especially for companies: investment allocation opportunities, thanks to what we put into the budget, are important. “
Deputy Prime Minister Steven Miles told reporters this afternoon that the opening of the Queensland-New Wales border in November can still take a position, in a key detail.
NSW reported 3 new cases of network transmission after a series of about two weeks without any, endangering the long-awaited Queensland border uprising.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has continually said that her state will only reopen her southern neighbor if she spends 28 days without any acquired care.

Miles said NSW touch plotters now have “48 hours to see if they can scientifically link them to existing groups. “
“I hope you can and, if you can, it won’t have any effect on our calendar,” he said.
“As we know for now, we are still on our way to this review towards the end of the month and a possible reopening on the first (November). “
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian told reporters this morning that it was for New South Wales to spend four weeks without a network transmission case.
“We have to assume during the pandemic that from time to time we will have that,” he said.
“So I tell the Queensland government, I thank you for probably going out and saying that the 28 days go from the beginning, but I will tell you: until the end of the pandemic, it is highly unlikely, very unlikely that NSW will never succeed in 28 days without network transmission, because that is not how a pandemic works.
“Queensland and WA have the luxury of defining their borders, so cases are more likely not to have been passed down through the community. “
Queensland Deputy Prime Minister Steven Miles has been asked to investigate the “very distressing” case of a brain patient who has been told to take an Uber at his chemotherapy appointments.
Gary Ralph, a boy from Brisbane, underwent a severe brain operation in Sydney less than a week ago. His wife, Wendy Child, traveled from Queensland with him and hoped that he himself would quarantine himself at his home when he returned.
Instead, he was granted an exemption to take a taxi, with the windows lowered, from the hotel’s quarantine in Brisbane to his appointments.

“It’s life and death, it’s not a joke, it’s not a user who needs to play football in another state, which is fine,” Child told A Current Affair.
“Apparently, there are still exemptions for us.
“Apparently we’re not qualified, we haven’t been told yet why we’re not qualified yet, no one’s been here to tell me. “
Child said “everyone” would be safer if Mr. Child. Ralph could be quarantined at home.
Prime Minister Annastacia Palaszczuk told reporters this morning that she discovered that the stage was “very distressing” and that Miles would “talk to paramedics and the ambulance service so that transport can take place. “
“This is a terrible scenario for other people and I’ve asked the Minister of Health to face it. “

Mr. Miles had spoken to fitness director Kerry Chant and informed him that the couple would get “better support. “
“The user involved and their partner can be quarantined together, they’re not in the same old hotel quarantine in the sense they have of the medi-hotel,” he said.
“If the medi-hotel is inadequateArray . . . then we will provide you with a room in one of our hospitals where you can have all the full services. “
