A huge battery factory that is destined to create thousands of jobs in Jackson County faces more problems.
The governor and Korean company SK Battery made the big announcement that they had developed a $1.7 billion partnership to build a battery plant about 65 miles northeast of Atlanta in Jackson County.
“I am convinced that Georgia will be half the production of car batteries in the world,” Gov. Brian Kemp said at the time.
But Dave Huddleston of Channel 2 learned that one of the marketing specialists for this great assignment is no longer at work.This is just the latest in a series of up disorders since the agreement was announced.
We first reported on June 12 that SK accused of stealing battery generation and issued a lawsuit over ruled in favor of the rival company.
Today, some 33 Korean citizens were detained at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport for fees attempting to sneak into the country on fake documents.

Huddleston received a letter stating that passengers had told customs and border coverage officials that they would paint on SK Battery.
Sources near Huddleston told him that one of the contractors to build the plant had reaffirmed the agreement in January, as Jackson County demonstrated.
