Construction employee dies Formula E track structure in Berlin

An employee of the structure died during the circuit structure procedure at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin before hosting the last of the Formula E 2019-2020 season next month.

The venue will host six races from 5/6, 8/9, 12/13 August, which will be divided into 3 double occasions and the double E-Prix will take position in another configuration of the circuit.

Autosport understands that while paintings were being made in the former terminal of the U.S. Cold War army. To prepare the site, a structure painter became concerned in an incident and died.

An FE spokesman in Autosport said: “We can verify that a fatal twist of fate occurred at the Tempelhof airport site today, Wednesday, July 29.”
