ADRIAN – Align Lenawee and the Align Center for Workforce Development hosted the third annual Career Connections Job Fair on Thursday, March 21 at Adrian’s Christian Family Center.
At least 40 local and regional employers attended the occasion and connected with academics (top schools and schools) and job seekers for all kinds of job opportunities, adding internships and full-time, part-time apprenticeships.

“This event brings together students, network members from all walks of life, and employers to fill positions at all levels of staff,” said Kelly McNicol, skills navigator at the Align Center for Workforce Development and one of the event’s planners.
Throughout the day, from 9 a. m. to 1 p. m. —Scholars and adults had multiple opportunities to participate in drawings, hone their interview and painting skills, and make netpaintings with employers. Seminars were also held on the occasion.

Michigan Works Southeast, Lenawee Intermediate School District and Christian Family Center were the “Platinum” sponsors of the event. Clift Buick, GMC; Lenawee Medical Care Center and the Michigan Department of Corrections were the “Gold” sponsors.
