Colt Ford’s team has provided an update after the singer was sent to intensive care following an attack at the facility last week.

While Ford is still under intensive care, his team says “his condition is improving in a positive direction. “
“At this time, his circle of family asks for privacy and appreciates your attention and constant prayers,” reads a brief note from his team.
Ford has several children with his first wife. She remarried in the fall of 2022.
Update (April 15): Ford’s team says it has made “significant progress” but is still in intensive care. Due to his physical condition, he canceled or postponed all tour dates until August 30. Refunds will be received at the point of purchase and all existing tickets will be revered for new shows.
On Sunday (April 7), Gilbert shared the first news with fans on Instagram.
“Last night I finished an exhibition in Texas and called to see Colt and despite everything, I received good news!” he wrote before asking for them to continue praying.
Professional golfer Charlie Rymer shared a sentiment last week:
“The chances of survival were slim. Today he is making wonderful progress,” he wrote.
Ford (called real Jason Brown) is a quiet person. Very little is known about his family’s life, he spoke to Taste of Country about some health issues.
She effectively battled eye cancer, but in 2022 she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called myasthenia gravis. There is no cure. This affects the muscles of the face, eyes, and throat.
“I hadn’t actually slit my throat, but I had slit my eye,” Ford told Taste of Country Nights in May 2023. “I had no control over my right eye. In fact, it disturbs your vision. I may only see parfaitement. de each eye, but then I would look at you together and see three of you and you would melt together like a lava lamp.
