Chrysler Halcyon concept headed to production, CEO confirms

Last year, Chrysler introduced the Sublime Halcyon Concept, 4-door power that looks more like its design through Porsche than the other people in Auburn Hills.

For his revelation, Chrysler said the concept showed elements that may seem in long -term vehicles, such as the next evolution in Stow seats and the new battery technology.

Now, the corporate is making plans a production edition of the concept itself. In an interview with CNBC published on Jan. 6, Chrysler Brand CEO Christine Feull said that the Halcyon concept headed for production, without offering a timeline.

A Chrysler spokesman later confirmed to Motor Authority that a production version is in the works, but that the company has nothing more to add at this time.

The Halcyon has a taste of the Coupé -shaped frame with 4 doors, adding coach doors in the rear. The taste of any production edition will probably be attenuated significantly, but it will probably retain the sublime profile of the cutting type. Do not wait for the coach’s doors.

Chrysler is today part of the 14-brand Stellantis fold, and while the brand has languished for years with a limited lineup, leading to rumors it may be axed or spun off, Feuell told CNBC that Chrysler has a bright future and is receiving investment for new product.

In addition to the production edition of the Falcyon concept, Chrysler works on a giant SUV, as well as a re-ech up for its only product available lately, a mini-problem presented in Voyager and Pacifica. It is not transparent if the new Chryslers will be presented exclusively as an EV or have the option of a fuel engine, either as an autonomous source unit, either in a mixture with a hybrid system.

Chrysler’s sleek Airflow electric crossover concept unveiled in 2022 isn’t bound for production, according to the CNBC report.
