BEIJING (AP) — China said Tuesday it has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization over U. S. vehicle subsidies.

China’s Ministry of Commerce said on Tuesday it had used the WTO’s dispute settlement procedure to protest against the United States because cars use parts from fast regions to qualify for subsidies.

A message posted online says the U. S. has formulated discriminatory subsidy policies for new-powered cars as part of its Inflation Reduction Act, in a call to respond to climate change.

He said the U. S. resolution excludes Chinese products, distorts the fairground festival and disrupts the global chain of new electric vehicles.
