The Beatles released some of their most notable pop hits, a woman came to the area for the first time ever, the U.S. released zip codes and Chevy pulled out her ‘Chevrolet Olé! Commercial.
In the eyes of history, those occasions are equivalent.

Think of a moment when a pseudo-war song about Chevrolet in a facsimile of the first drum riff of “Hogan’s Heroes” would not have been considered a parody. Ah, a deeply imperfect moment, but simpler. And yet this charming amber-wrapped mosquito was controlled to perfectly direct its arrow towards the proverbial center of the zeitgeist.
History may never know.
