Chevrolet just revealed the RST specs of the Silverado EV First-Edition and it has a range of 440 miles.

Chevrolet today released what are likely the final specs for its 2024 Silverado EV First-Edition RST pickup — here are the details.

Chevrolet says it will eventually release a suite of Silverado EV versions with a variety of lineup options. But for now, it starts with the first RST edition of Silverado EV with an MSRP of $94,500 plus $1,995 DFC. You can choose between a black or white exterior and a black interior. Deliveries to consumers are expected to begin until mid-2024.

The Silverado EV First-Edition RST, which makes 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque according to GM, is capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in 4. 5 seconds. It has an impressive 440-mile diversity, a significant advance from the previous estimate of 400 miles, giving it an edge over its competition when it comes to diversity. (The Ford Lightning Extended Diversity Battery offers an EPA-estimated diversity of 320 miles, and the Rivian R1T comes standard with a diversity estimate of 315 miles. )

The first RST edition can weigh up to 10,000 pounds of towing capacity and 1,300 pounds of payload. It is supplied with a feature called the Multi-Flex Midgate that increases the capacity of the truck’s garage when lowered. When combined with the Multi-Flex tailgate, it increases garage capacity from five feet 11 inches to 10 feet 10 inches. The Midgate some rear seats will still be usable, but passengers will sit next to the long object being transported and displayed outside.

On the charging front, the DC fast-charging capability of the luxury electric pickup truck is up to 350 kW. RST First Edition pre-order holders who have switched to an order get a GM Energy Powershift Level 2 bi-directional wall charger for free with a strength score of 19. 2. Kw.

An attractive feature is that 7. 2 kW of outboard force is available to force everything from working on a job site to camping. An accessory force bar is available if you need to increase the force to 10. 2 kW.

It also has 4-wheel steering, a feature that makes it more agile to drive, and 24-inch wheels. While not unique to the RST, GM’s four-corner adaptive suspension generation allows for a more comfortable ride. It also comes with Chevrolet Safety Assist and Super Cruise with towing.

My employer’s fleet manager is driving one lately (the fleet edition came out before the popular edition). He says he got 440 miles of diversity from driving it. It’s awesome. Their diversity is greater than what would usually be needed, until you start towing. I agree that we want to see much cheaper commuter EVs, but we also need vehicles with large batteries to tow.

A 17-inch diagonal LCD display screen is paired with an 11-inch diagonal reconfigurable driver data display screen, and a 14-inch diagonal display box features Google’s built-in technology. To top it all off, a constant glass ceiling.
