It is the first road-going Ferrari with a V6 engine since the 1974 Dino; however, this mid-engined two-seater hybrid supercar is incredibly fast and delivers all the thrills and sharp commentary you’d expect from the Prancing Horse brand.
Nestled in the seats is a 3. 0L (120-degree) wide-angle turbocharged V6 that, with the help of a 164-horsepower electric motor, emboldens the 296GTB with 819 horsepower. The electric motor eliminates any turbo lag and features intelligent electronic drift control. (Sideslip Control) allows for heroic oversteer on this rear driver.
The cabin is fairly roomy for a two-seater and there’s a reasonable amount of luggage space in the frunk. Ergonomics are a bit confusing with almost all switches for the car’s function crammed on the steering wheel. The 6.0-kWh battery pack behind the seats provides an estimated 10 miles of electric range.
The 2022 Ferrari 296GTB starts at $312,986. The track-focused Assetto Fiorano package will contribute more to your child’s school fund.

Reserved for Ferrari’s wealthiest and most exclusive customers, the ultra-limited edition Daytona SP3 is a mid-engined rocket that will pay homage to the 330 P4S race cars that won the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. Surprising to behold, it incorporates many styles of Ferrari. Se draws inspiration from classics of the past, while still having a futuristic look.
The rugged 6. 5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine found in the driver’s seat generates a staggering 829 horsepower and revs at 9,500 rpm. The Daytona SP3 is the toughest road car Ferrari has ever produced. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a fast-acting seven-speed transmission. Dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Look elsewhere. The seats are fixed to the bodywork, with a set of movable pedals and a guide wheel for adjustment. There is a clip on the targa roof for driving.
If you’re not one of the handful of elite Ferrari consumers invited to buy the Daytona SP3, you probably don’t know how much it costs seven figures. Guaranteed to be appreciated as temporarily as it blurs the landscape.
