Buick’s crossover lineup will arrive when General Motors brings the compact Envista to the U. S. U. S. in 2023.
On the automaker’s investor day on Nov. 17, GM President Mark Reuss said the Envista, recently in production in China, is an internal combustion vehicle that has style through the brand’s Wildcat electric concept. The Wildcat concept features a more sculptural appearance and more spacious interiors.
“Good vehicle, for the U. S. “The U. S. is here too,” Reuss told investors in New York. “Just a great addition to Buick’s line. “
A representative for Buick declined to comment beyond Reuss’ comments. The Envista images were visualized in a live webcast of Reuss’ presentation.
Forecasters say Envista is expected to arrive in the U. S. It may be the last addition of gasoline to Buick’s lineup before the logo starts introducing electric cars in 2024.
“Just like Chevy did with the next-generation Trax, Buick is sticking to a new and more exciting formula for an oblique Encore replacement, which would be Envista,” said Paul Waatti, AutoPacific’s head of industry research. Trax is particularly larger than its predecessor, but manages to retain its entry-level prestige in Chevy’s lineup. Envista is based on the same platform and brings with it a sleek and elegant profile that is very compelling to young shoppers in particular. “
Sam Fiorani, vice president of global vehicle forecasting for AutoForecast Solutions, said the Envista will be between the Encore GX and Envision in Buick’s lineup of crossovers and will have sportier styling than the Envision. next year.
Buick unveiled the Envista in August in China. The automaker said the crossover “was designed for the progressive young generation and trendy families in China” when it debuted.
The Chinese is 182. 6 inches long, 71. 5 inches wide and 61. 6 inches tall, with a wheelbase of 106. 3 inches, GM said. It comes with a 1. 5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
