Brunswick Corporation announces final repayment of renewable credit line

In addition, Brunswick recently gained approval of the company’s functionality and strategy when primary credit rating agencies Standard and Poor’s and Fitch Ratings revised Brunswick’s outlook to “Stable” and reaffirmed the company’s credit rating.

“As we close August, we continue to see a very healthy marine industry with strong demand, a giant cohort of new and recurring recreational navigation participants and the best degrees of participation in recreational navigation. These factors, as well as widespread percentage gains in many of our businesses, continued to drive demand for our products as we ended the number one retail season. Through the successful execution of our strategy and our capital plans, we are repaying the balance of our renewable line of credit,” said Ryan Gwillim, Chief Financial Officer of Brunswick Corporation.

“Both SP and Fitch mentioned our business results, optimized portfolio, strong money flow and liquidity, as well as advanced market situations as one of the positive points influencing their progressive valuation, giving us greater flexibility for our long-term financing and growth desires,” Gwillim added.
